For those craving pasta, the creamy and indulgent Fettuccine Alfredo promises a silky, comforting dish that beckons for a second helping.
The Virginian also shines with its creative starters and desserts. The creamy artichoke soup, speckled with red pepper flakes, offers a velvety introduction to your meal, warming and satisfying the senses. Don’t miss the highly praised Whiskey Cake for My Birthday—a dessert that perfectly embodies celebration with its rich, boozy sweetness. Complement your dining experience with expertly mixed martinis and a carefully curated wine selection, thoughtfully paired to enhance your meal.

Excellent fillet Mingon that I have ever had. Perfect tender and flavor was excellent .
We went to dinner here for the first time recently and it was delicious! The atmosphere, service, food and drinks were excellent. We'll definitely be going back.
Wonderful food & service. Natalie was a wonderful server. We highly recommend eating at this historical restaurant.
As their website states : "The Virginian restaurant at the Occidental Hotel is named after Owen Wister's immortal novel "The Virginian." " My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal and experience here; although the wine list could use improvement with more of a selection. We each ordered filet mignon wrapped in bacon with sides. The steaks were cooked to order perfectly and delicious. Dessert was cherry pie for my husband and creme brulee for me. We reserved a window seat, and it was very cozy and private. It's definitely a treat if you're in the area.
Excellent service!!! They serve your dinner as it’s supposed to be - bringing appetizers, bread, and entrees in order and allowing good 30 minutes in between, so you can talk. Allow for 2 hours to really enjoy this amazing dinner experience. Food is great, elk steak is to die for!
